Natural forms and vibrations
You know how the waves break to the shore of an ocean – how the sand gathers into ever-changing rippled formations at the beach – or how a little plant starts growing its first leaves and how they curl up in the most natural way…
I love the Art Nouveau era of architecture and decorative arts that drew its inspiration from natural forms, curves and structures. That same vibration is all around us, be it visual, audible or intuitive. You can feel it in your heart and soul. This is the source of my inspiration for the sound and appearance of Duke Artisan.
When you ask, this guitar answers
The Artisan is a lightweight, semi-hollow electric guitar. It is an extremely responsive musical instrument. When you ask, this guitar answers. The body and neck are made of my trademark wood species, spanish cedar.
Customize your guitar
Among a ton of other options, you can hand pick your favourite thermally aged arctic birch top from our wood library on the Guitar Creator tool. Notice that the tops you can browse on the Creator are the actual tops we have available in our wood inventory.
Which neck profile to choose?
Please check out the articles on this website specifications section. They’re not the typical (read: boring) tech spec articles, but rather true stories that give you a more profound view to my world. You’ll learn my views about the wood species we use, neck profiles, tone, pickups – and much much more. Try first the playability article. In case you happen to like it, you’ll find there plenty more to read!
