My musical awakening took place in the early 1980’s. The new wave of British heavy metal – and all the hard rock from the 1970’s I discovered soon after – shook my world to the extent that I’ve never quite recovered! Metal guitars are a species of their own – and the Hellcat is how I’ve envisioned the perfect weapon for the style, covering a wide array of
sounds from crystal-like cleans to the meanest of distortions.
The Hellcat Classic body is made of thermo treated Finnish alder. The thermo treated maple neck is joined to the body with a recessed bolt-on neck that allows great access to the full 2-octave fretboard. You can choose the fretboard
material from our familiar options: rosewood, ebony, thermo treated arctic birch and thermo treated maple.
