Duke Royale is a one-of-a-kind guitar that I built to celebrate my 10th Anniversary as a professional guitar maker. The Royale is completely and selfishly my vision – if you want one, there’s no custom options whatsoever available.
Art Nouveau – but not too much!
My love for Art Nouveau style shines through clearly – the dynamic movement of the curves, emphasizing the deep figure of the exceptional arctic birch topwood in a continuous flow… I love it! I used countless of hours to the extensive binding work – the kind you don’t see nowadays too often.

We celebrated our 10th anniversary together with Mad Professor Amplification, and Harri Koski and I got a crazy idea to build a matching amp and speaker cabinet as well!
Super Custom Mad Professor CS-40
MP Amps provided us the the complete chassis assembly with goldplated faceplate. They also had a complex grill cloth woven – of copper wire (!) for the cabinet. We did the woodwork of the amp and cab of solid spanish cedar and arctic birch, complete with the sunburst colour, binding details, ebony nameplate with abalone inlaid logo and rippled ivoroid bindings – and so on.
Robb Report review
It’s quite a stunning set of ridiculously expensive guitar gear, I can tell. Crazy enough so the millionaire magazine Robb Report did a review of the matching set back in 2006.
