Steam Artist – neck through body
May I introduce to you Steam Artist The 3rd. Not many of these basses yet around. The first two sold the moment we released them. This time we’ve kept things quite simple – and we’re introducing a little twist as well! To be a neck through body bass with an ebony fretboard and Valvebucker pickup, the instrument is exceptionally light, weighing only 3.88kg / 8.55lbs. The body wood is light, yes, but the actual secret is the neck wood. Instead of thermally aged maple from Canada, the neck of this bass has been carved of true locally grown & thermally aged arctic birch.
If you’re interested in this bass, please contact me for an offer. Also, if you have any questions about the instrument, I’m more than happy to answer!
Markus Setzer’s feedback of the first Steam Artist bass we sent to him for testing:
“What a quick attack, awesome shiny overtones,
very sensitive, and unbelievable sustain.
I could not imagine what a big new step
the neck through concept is. Simply: Wow!!!”
