I recall vividly the first time we fired up the first Valvebucker guitar prototype – the tubes softly lighting up with that warm glare… It gave me the chills! From those early days of research and development I had the thought: “Wouldn’t the legendary Rickenbacker colour Fire Glow combined with a flamed Arctic Birch top be just the perfect combo matching the ember-like gleam of the vacuum tubes?”. Well, here you have it – the first Fire Glow coloured Valvebucker guitar we’ve ever built. It is a captivating colour, and impossible to achieve without the aid of the magic of Finnish nature – the luscious red gradient reaching towards the natural coloured center, blending with the wavy grain pattern of the wild grown flamed arctic birch.
This Mojo Grande is also one of the first ever made Valvebucker Mk2 powered guitars. Now as the demos (scroll down to watch one of them!), photo sessions and guitar show premiere for the VB Mk2 are done, the guitar is available to purchase.
